I've been having a biatch of a time trying to figure out the new BuildSupport system in DotNetNuke 3.x. The idea sounds good, but I just can't seem to adjust it to fit my development style without a whole whack of headpounding.
cniknet has posted to the DotNetNuke forums quite a bit and is also a DotNetNuke Core Team member. He's recently posted an article on his blog about a different way to format the solutions. He's also started a DNN forum post on the same topic. I haven't read too much of it yet, but I certainly like this idea: 'I like to leave the DotNetNuke core code untouched when I do my module development. Also, I like to work with a clean VS.Net solution which has my custom modules and none of the core projects.'
I'll post back on how it goes.
